Make your own ringtones with the free iRinger

The good news is that iRinger is free and that it lets you create iPhone ringtones from almost any source. You can even extract audio ringtones from videos. The bad news: the app is only available for the Windows OS. (There's a certain amount of irony there.) Once you've created your ringtones, then the application exports them to iTunes. You can Adjust ringtone length, volume, fade in, fade out, and loop gap, as well as add audio effects.

Great news!

This is great news (for some)... I use Windows AND Mac.  My friends at Ambrosia Software (literally about two blocks from my home) have a nice Mac app, iToner, that has a free trial, but it's not an option for Windows.

Now I can direct customers for 100sounds, our iPhone Sound app (#1 sound app, #6 entertainment app, and #36 overall paid app) to this solution for turning sound files into ringtones!  THANKS!

Thanks, Todd, for the info

Thanks, Todd, for the info about iTuner. And GREAT to hear that 100sounds is doing so well!
