iWatermark -- $2.99 app lets you digitally sign your photos

A friend has created a useful app if you're serious about photography. iWatermark ($2.99) puts a digital signature on your photos. This can be useful not only for protecting your intellectual property, but also for promoting your brand by having your logo in all your images.

iWatermark

As one of the two creators of iWatermark i wanted to mention a couple more pieces of info about the app.

iWatermark is a cross platform so you can use it on Mac, Win and now on iPhone. The other versions are available on our website.

It puts visible watermarks on your photos and art. This lets people know that this is your intellectual property so they don't steal or accidentally use it on the web. This can prevent getting into legal or other squabbles and the attendant costs of litigation.

You can use text or graphic watermarks in iWatermark. That means you can create text watermarks or you can import graphics like your signature or logo to use as watermarks.

Thanks Jim for the blog post on iWatermark. We really enjoy iPhone Life.
