iPhone Reception Case -- "world's thinnist iPhone 4 case" said to help with reception problems

Okay, it's official. iPhone 4 has reception problems. Now that I've been using the phone for a number of days I can tell you that at home, where I have very weak reception, the signal drops every single time I touch the lower left corner of the phone. You learn quickly the best way to hold it. Ivyskin has just released their new iPhone 4 Reception Case made of polycarbonate that they say is the world's thinnest iPhone 4 case. According to their press release, "It's so discreet you'll barely notice you have a case on." And apparently, having a case like this helps to eliminate the reception problems because your hand no longer can touch the sensitive area.

Reception problem is real

I upgraded from the original iPhone to the iPhone 3Gs and now to the iPhone 4. Everyone who knows me considers me to be somewhat of a Mac fanatic.

The iPhone 3Gs provided the best and most reliable connection to AT&T wireless of all the phones.

I just love the iPhone 4. It is elegant, beautiful in design, the best overall features yet, but provides extraordinarily poor cell reception. The iPhone 4 drops more calls than any of it's predecessors - by a long shot. Add that to the unreliable cell service that has become the hallmark of AT&T wireless and the "phone" aspect of this product receives a D score from me.

I have 30 days to return the phone for a full refund (and I may just do that and go back to my reliable iPhone 3Gs).

BE WARY OF ORDERING FROM THIS OUTFIT!! After reading this review I ordered the iPhone 4 Reception Case. Ordered it on July 9. The order cart stated the item was "in stock & ships in 3-5 days". Finally, on 7/19 I received an email notification of shipment- I would have expected to have received it by this date, not just be notified of it's shipment. As of this date, 7/28, I still have not received the case, nor have I heard anything else from their customer support(?)re my 2 emails inquiring about my order. BE VERY WARY!!

Seems iphone Life should have an avenue for us loyal readers to inform you guys when we have bad dealings with one of the companies you rave about, after all it's because of you that we even do business with that company. Come on, stand up for your readers!!

I, too, have experienced almost exactly the same problem. My credit card has been charged, and 15 days later I am still waiting for my product with no response to three emails as they do not answer their customer service telephone number.
