iPhone 4.0 announced: multitasking, folders, and more!

At a media event today Apple announced iPhone 4.0, which will be available this summer for the iPhone and iPod touch and in the fall for the iPad. The big news is that it will include multitasking (the ability to run more than one app at a time) and the ability to organize apps into folders. You can read more in InformationWeek and on Apple's website. One interesting new function will be Game Center, which will support Apple's forthcoming social gaming network. There will also be a unified inbox that will consolidate all of your e-mail accounts.
