Many are now expecting that Apple will announce iOS 6 during their June 11 keynote at the Worldwide Developers Conference. Rumors have been circulating that Apple will introduce a new Maps app -- one that will no longer use Google Maps. A rumored feature will be 3D maps. Details of the app and actual photos have been posted on the Internet. You can see a roundup of this on CNET. Also rumored is Facebook integration. In fact, Apple CEO Tim Cook said in his recent interview that Apple was going to be working more closely with Facebook. According to AppleInsider, market analyst Shawn Wu has suggested that iOS 6 will also feature new Camera and Photos apps. Wu speculated that the new apps would integrate features of popular apps such as Instagram. I'm looking forward to June 11.
