iPhone and Evernote!!!

Ok, things aren't going quite as planned. My car was stolen this morning from the hotel parking lot. Thank goodness for my iPhone!!! Everyone, right now, download the "Evernote" app and take a picture of your license plate, registration and insurance information. I had all my info ready! I still don't have my car, but my stress level this morning when I walked to the parking lot and saw a pile of glass instead of my car, could have been much, much worse!! ~T. I'm heading to the app store. I have always thought of photographing home contents (including serial numbers) but now that my daughter's home was robbed, I will be sure that everything, including the garbage can, is cataloged. I never thought of including the car, but will do that as well.

As a long time Evernote fan, I consider myself up on most of the cool uses. This one, I have to say is excellent. When your car is stolen, all that info usually goes with it. Kudos for coming up with that. As a plus, you can use it when you check into hotels and they ask for your license plate number. I cant tell you how many times I've had to run out and check it. Thanks for sharing a great idea.

While I have Evernote, I have just been using it for snapping pix of wine labels and archiving whiteboard sessions. After reading this, I just started doing home inventory as well. Just captured all my artwork and certificates of authenticity. Definitely going to snap the car and scooter papers as well.
