Preview: Pig Shot by Nexx Studio

Hopefully by the end of September you’ll be enjoying the next casual game craze on the iPhone like I am.  Okay, “craze” might be a bit strong, but Pig Shot is a lot of fun.  This is “long distance” game where you must keep a porky little pig rolling for as long as you can, using a series of conveniently placed sling shots.  A head on collision with any obstacle spells game over, while a light brush against such objects just slows you down.  If you’re lucky you can speed up either by rolling over a set of double arrows or via natural gas (the result of cabbage consumption).  Along the way you need to collect stars for bonus points as well.  The graphics are cute, the music is a very spirited banjo riff, and the game is just plain fun to play, which makes it quite addicting before long.  Can you master the art of the Pig Shot?
