The Waterfield iPhone Wallet ($49) is a compact, leather case designed to hold almost everything you need. Your iPhone is inserted into one side of the wallet, while cash and credit cards fit on the other side of the Ultrasuede divider. The front window on the iPhone Wallet lets you both see and use your iPhone without needing to take it out every time someone texts or calls.
I could easily use the iPhone screen while it was inside the wallet. I even made a call and talked on my phone right through the case. And while the sound quality wasn't terrific and I had to turn the volume way up, it still worked. So, if you need to call someone and tell them you're going to be a few minutes late, using the phone inside the wallet is doable. For long calls, though, you definitely want to take the phone out.
While the iPhone Wallet is obviously designed for a man and is slim enough to fit into a back pocket without causing discomfort (according to my husband), I like using it too. It keeps things organized in my purse, or I will just slip the wallet in my jacket pocket and head out the door for some quick errands.
The iPhone Wallet is available in brown or black naturally-tanned leather. I was impressed with the high quality look and feel of the leather.
Because of the original design and high quality leather, I think the iPhone Wallet is well worth the price.
