Leading up to the announcement of the newly released iPhone 5, I was seeing a plethora of leaked images and video of the purported miniature iPad, however, since the iPhone 5 was introduced, things have been eerily quiet on the iPad mini front. However this latest tidbit of information has revived my optimism that the iPad mini is indeed on the near horizon. In fact, numerous sources are now reporting that the iPad mini is well into production in factories in both Brazil and China, with the iPad mini possibly becomming available for purchase by November 2nd.

As MacRumors reports: "According to a report from Philip Elmer-DeWitt at Apple 2.0, Apple could be sending out invitations to the launch event for the iPad mini on October 10." DeWitt also notes that this rumor comes directly from a major Apple investor.

Stay tuned, I will certainly continue to keep you up to date on all the latest, as the rumor mill continues to churn concerning this rumored new iDevice.
