iBook

This is what the iBook app looks like! See how the page curls as you turn it. You can even read the back side as it rolls over. How cool is that?

I'm going to examine this app more closely in the next week and give you a report.

iBook vs. Kindle

I'm looking forward to more on iBooks but I've been using the Kindle Reader on my iPhone occasionally for a year or so. Opening those same books on the iPad Kindle Reader was my obvious path and I've been happy with my ability to read primarily on my iPad and occasionally on the iPhone with my place automatically synced between the two.

I've downloaded iBooks but really haven't had a chance to try it. I'd love to hear some comparisons of the two... in addition to the pure iBooks review, if you have experience with the Kindle Reader. In other words, is either App superior from a reading standpoint, or are they really just separated by a content / ebook cost issue?

Now, I believe B&N is soon to release their ereader... which will only add to the discussion... ;)

Good questions Charlie. I'm

Good questions Charlie. I'm curious about those things as well. I wonder which one will come out on top... eReaders is going to make being a student so much easier! Especially if the reader is connected to the internet like the iPad and can also create documents and presentations.
