Apple Ebook Pricing

Although Apple has stated that its ebooks will sell for $14.99, there is rumor that bestsellers will sell at $9.99. At what price are you willing to purchase an eBook? Does it matter whether it is fiction or nonfiction? Best seller?

I like the $9.99 price point.

I like the $9.99 price point. : )  I think I'd be reluctant to pay $14.99, since in my experience so far using the Kindle app, there are some things that are just harder to do in the electronic format, especially "backscanning" — skimming back over things you've already read to get a better sense of context for the material you're currently reading. Maybe the iPad will be different. But if there are tradeoffs to an electronic edition, then I prefer paying a little less.
