HEX, award-winning fashion brand of carryalls, wallets, and cases, today announced the debut of a limited edition Cross Body bag for Apple Newton, Apple’s original tablet model that has blazed the trail of PDA innovation since 1993. The Cross Body is thoughtfully designed for portable access to the Newton’s essential features, including writing notes, drawing shapes, and faxing and beaming documents. The bag’s adjustable shoulder straps and ultra-slim, compact silhouette make toting your Apple Newton as seamless and stylish as the device’s functionality itself. To see the new bag in action, check out this video.

Engineered for versatility, the HEX Cross Body for Apple Newton ($39.95) comes in a black woven blend fabric accentuated by refined features including genuine leather zipper pulls and cotton, surplus grade web straps. The water-resistant fabric exterior of the case protects the Newton from the elements – and accidents – of everyday life and incorporates a front pocket perfectly sized for storing accessories, including the fax modem or extra AA batteries. Additionally, the interior is padded and micro fleece-lined with a HEX’s signature custom logo print, offering complete protection from rough bangs or drops.

“HEX is all about design that reflects innovation and classic style, and the Apple Newton has been a shining example of these principles for the last two decades,” said Dan Maravilla, co-founder, HEX. “This new cross body bag gives our tech savvy consumers a way to carry this legendary PDA with understated fashion and protection while still accessing the tablets essential features like its stylus pen and fax modem.”

In recognition of the bags nationwide availability, which happens to coincide with April Fool’s Day, HEX is hosting a contest for tech lovers to enter-to-win one of three gift packages which includes a Cross Body bag and an Apple Newton with fax modem. To participate, entrants must follow @ShopHEX on Instagram and post a photo of themselves with their favorite tech device. All posts must include the hashtag #HEXnewton. Additionally, three runners up will each win $100 to shop on ShopHEX.com.
