Breath=Battery Power? An Innovative iPhone Charger Concept

Yesterday I came across an article on the Huffington Post about a device (still in conceptual form) that charges your iPhone by converting your breath into electrical energy. Theoretically, it would allow you to charge your iPhone while sleeping, running, or performing any other act of breathing. The only catch? You have to wear this Storm Trooper-esque mask (shown at right).

Industrial designer João Lammoglia's creation, called AIRE, won a Red Dot Design Award for Design Concept in 2011. Read the full article, which features several more photos of the device, here.

What's your take -- totally cool? Totally creepy? Some combination thereof? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
