Back in January I wrote a review of an amazing photo editing app called Groupshot (read it here). In short, it is an app that lets you take the best shots of people in multiple photos and merge them into one. It's the time of year again when you'll probably be taking family photos and will need to edit weird looks out of the final picture. Groupshot is the best app for doing just that. It's still only $.99
Macadamia Apps, the developer of Groupshot has another app called Stillshot ($.99) that answers a different problem we have all run in to. That is, recording a video when we thought we were taking a picture. Up until now, we would just have to toss the mistaken video and recite your favorite curse words.
Now all you have to do to capture the photo you were after is open the video,
choose the best frame,
....and there you have it. The prize photo you thought was gone forever.
These folks at Macadamia Apps have created two apps that solve some of the most frustrating things I come across when taking pictures with my iPhone. Now if they would only come up with a way to stop my hands from shaking, I'd be all set.
