It's Still Hurricane Season, Stay Informed

We are almost to the end of another hurricane season and so far, it hasn't been all that terrible. Full disclosure here, I am writing this from Vermont and hurricane season is never terrible here, but I still watch with great interest.

Hurricane HD is an amazing app. Although it is available in the iPhone, you really can't appreciate the resolution of the maps until you view it on the iPad. There are maps for tracking the paths of hurricanes, satellite, forcasting, and local radar maps. You can view current active hurricanes or view the paths previous storms took. There are videos and news feeds that add to the information and enjoyment of using this app.

If you live near the water in hurricane alley, or love someone who does, this app will make you a more informed person.
