Real Boxing for real fans of boxing

I am constantly amazed by the advancements in graphics and gaming in the iOS world, and Real Boxing is the latest example. From the colorized red, black, and white cinematic 'cut scenes' reminiscent of Frank Miller's Sin City, to the photorealistic gameplay, the experience is breathtaking.


I wasn't sure if I'd like the controls, but it works well, actually, especially on the new iPad mini. You can grasp the device and use your thumbs, almost like texting, to dodge, jab, etc. If that's not your style, you can use the accelerometer and motion controls to play the game.





Real Boxing is one of those games that shows off what the iPad or iPhone can do, and if you are a new iOS owner, and like boxing at all, it should be one of your first app purchases.
