A case for beating cancer thanks to OtterBox #CES

If you watched the news lately, you may have seen the uproar when a certain charity with a noble purpose gets involved in politics.  It might make you jaded and give you pause before you make a donation or buy another "pink" item.  So when I saw today's press release from OtterBox, I read it carefully.

You already know you can get a wide variety of white, black and yellow OtterBox cases for iPhones, iPads and other gadgets.  But they also support finding a cure for Breast Cancer and the foundation they work with is Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.  So look for their pink (or black with subtle 'Hope' accents) cases and fight gadget dings, cracked screens and Cancer at the same time!

OtterBox Cases fight Cancer

"OtterBox's sponsorship of the Crusade and Avon Walk for the past two years has enabled us to support organizations nationwide that are making great strides in breast cancer research and care,” said Carol Kurzig, president of the Avon Foundation for Women. “There is still much more work to do to end breast cancer, which is why we are so appreciative of supporters like OtterBox that are helping us work towards creating a world without breast cancer. We are proud to once again have OtterBox as an official Avon Walk for Breast Cancer sponsor during the Avon Walk’s 10th birthday season and the 20th anniversary of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.”

OtterBox makes great cases, so you can't go wrong with them.  Their cases are rugged and you will more than likely upgrade your phone long before the case needs to be replaced!  In fact in three years, I've only run into one customer who had a problem, with his belt clip, and he said OtterBox had it replaced immediately with no questions asked.  He was a very happy, repeat customer.

10% of sales goes to the cause and over $300,000 was raised in the last quarter alone (almost double that of the previous year!)  It's hard to think of a better Valentine's Day gift than the line of OtterBox Strength cases.
