Are you a news junkie?  Do you like word games?  Are you brave enough for Hangman RSS?  Don't worry, your life isn't at risk... it's just a $0.99 iPhone game, and there's even a free version.  The app is, of course, a game of Hangman, but with a topical twist.  You must fill in words from recent news stories.  News articles are retrieved when an Internet connection is available, but you can play offline.

Coming from a developer named Finger Arts, you would expect the app to be artistic, and you won't be disappointed.  The graphics and animation are well polished.  You canchange the country of origin for news articles and with the paid version, there are social networking features like Open Feint.

Hangman RSS is a nice take on Hangman, with a kind of Wheel of Fortune feel.  And it's never the same twice!  The best part is I can tell myself I'm not playing a game... I'm catching up on the news!
