Fat Jump Pro iPhone App Review

image

Fat jump pro is a fun game which has you playing a small green character who starts out at the bottom of the screen, and has to jump from bouncy platform to bouncy platform without falling.  While this does sound like many other games, this one has quite a few different unique additions to the game which have made it quite enjoyable and greatly adds to the length of time it can be enjoyed.

Angry Boo App Review

image

The angry boo app is a game where you have to shoot a ghost to different platforms using a slingshot like launcher.  This is similar to Angry Birds, but without the end goal of having to knock down anything or kill any enemies.  Moving from platform to platform without falling to the ground is the main aspect of the game.  Each platform is a spider web, which you then pull down to ‘shoot’ the ghost on to the next web.  Collecting gold coins while navigating through each level is another important part of the game, earning more points for each gold coin collected.

The Marblez App Review

image

The Marblez is a new app which is similar to the bejeweled but with some interesting twists.  First, rather than jewels the game uses different colored marbles.  There are two different modes of play, classic and action.  One of them allows you to advance up in levels while the other just gets progressively more difficult as you continue to play.  The object of the game is to get three or more marbles of the same color lined up horizontally.  When this happens, they disappear.  To line them up you simply slide each of five columns of marbles up and down.

Avas Flowers Official App Review

image

The Avas flowers app is, to my knowledge, unique on the app store in selling flowers and flower delivery to people in any area of the country, all from their smart phone.  When first downloading the app I was skeptical about how effective it would be to view and purchase flowers on my phone but I was very pleasantly surprised about how easy it really was.  Avas clearly took the time and money necessary to make a best in class app.

Facebook Cover Designer Review

image

The facebook cover designer app makes creating great looking profile pictures or timeline covers quick and easy, right from your iPhone.  Since the new timeline profile feature came out on facebook there have been a few different places on the net which allow you to create some custom timelines, but there was never anything that could work right on your phone.  This was a big problem for many people since the majority of pictures taken and used on facebook today are shot right from phones or other camera enabled smart phones.

MediaSafe App Review

image

If you've been looking for an app that will allow you to keep your media hidden from spying eyes; then MediaSafe is the app for you.  It serves as your personal safe where you can hold photos, videos, contacts, and notes that are blocked behind a finger slide code.  It is your personal combination that will eventually allow access, but will lock up if someone else tries and continuously gets it wrong.

iPad App Review: Vodio

image

Vodio is a great new app for the iPad that allows you to watch videos quickly and easily. Like other similar apps, this one has an impressive display and is able to get videos from a number of different sources. The controls are very easy to learn and use, which makes this a great app for anyone who enjoys watching all sorts of videos. While all this alone makes for a pretty good app, Vodio has some impressive features which nobody else has to date.

Mike V: Skateboard Party HD - App Review

image

Mike V: Skateboard Party HD is a skateboard game for the iPhone and iPad with intense visuals and enticing gameplay.

The game starts off by allowing you to customize nearly every aspect of your avatar, from the classic to the current Mike V to other people. You are capable of customizing the skateboard, wheels, axles, and even the shoes the avatar wears. All of the different customizations can be unlocked during gameplay.

Nukes iPhone App Review

image

Nukes is a fairly typical game in which you have to have careful timing to hit a moving object.  The layout has you controlling one 'world' at the bottom of the screen and than another world at the top.  When it is your turn to fire a nuke the enemy world at the top of the screen is spinning either clockwise or counter clockwise and you have to hit 'launch' to shoot your missal at one of the cities on the other world.  If you hit the city it removes one of the 'lives' of the enemy.  You get one shot, then the enemy gets one shot.

App Review: Murder Detective for iPhone

image

Murder detective is an interesting detective type game with quite an extensive story line.  The game play is similar to old school text based games but it has images to go with it and simple tap to choose your options.  The story seems a little bit to common in that a drunk cop with family problems has to solve a murder, but I suppose it is done so often because it works well.  The story line seems quite extensive, I've played for a couple hours now and it still seems to have quite a bit to go.
