FOLIO: magazine today announced the winners in the 2009 Eddie Awards, which recognize excellence in magazine editorial and design. The Summer 2009 issue of iPhone Life was named a Silver winner in the category:Full Issue -- Consumer, Technology/Computing. The awards are presentedby FOLIO:, the leading publication and online resource for the magazine and media industry. The Eddies distinguish excellence in editorial work.
This year's contest drew over 2,000 entries. More than 60 expert judges spent weeks evaluating the entries and selecting the winners among nearly 200 categories for print and online editorial and design. A gold, silver and bronze award is presented in each category.

Hal Goldstein (halthaddeus [dot] com) is the founder and Senior Editor of iPhone Life. Hal founded Thaddeus Computing in May 1985, and remains CEO (www.thaddeus.com). Since its inception Thaddeus Computing has written about, and bought and sold pre-owned mobile computers. Hal lives in Fairfield, IA with his wife and co-founder, Rita.
