Video Review: BodyGuardz for Macbook Pro
Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Protects without a bulky case, shows the sexiness of the aluminum Macbook
Pro, nearly invisible, Lifetime Warranty.
Cons: The top is cut very precisely so there is very little room for error.
Overall: When BodyGuardz says Full Body protection they really mean it, with the top bottom, wrist rest, track pad AND around the keyboard protected you have nearly every inch covered. They key to great installation is patience and A LOT of solution. Because the pieces are so large make sure to use plenty of solution to avoid stretching the BodyGuardz. Make sure you set aside plenty of time for installation and just take your time. When complete you will have great scratch protection for your MBP. With no orange peel effect what-so-ever the BodyGuardz gets my Editor’s Choice Award.
Video Review: ScreenGuardz Privacy Screen Shield
Rating: 6 out of 10
Pros: Gives you peace of mind when using your iPhone in a public setting. Screen shield works as advertised in preventing those around you from viewing your screen. Easy installation.
Cons: Significantly decreases the clarity of your screen taking away from the “Retina” display. The darker tint forces you to increase the brightness of your display and as a result decreases battery life.
Overall: The ScreenGuardz privacy screen shield from NLU Products works as advertised but not without a few drawbacks.
You can purchase the ScreenGuardz Privacy Screen Shield for the iPhone 4 at for $19.95

Video Review: BlueAnt Q1 Bluetooth Headset
Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros: Voice Control, A2DP stereo bluetooth for listening to music..
Cons: I feel the sound quality could be better as well as the ear tips.
Overall: This is definitely a full featured bluetooth headset that is worth checking out. I really did feel that the sound quality of this headset needed improvement. When I compared it to my current headset when on call, it was like night and day. I’m not sure if this had anything to do with the eartips that come with the headset. They didn’t fit very snug in my ear and made it difficult to find a comfortable fit for the earpiece. Despite these drawbacks, the Q1 offers some really interesting features and I definitely recommend you check it out for yourself.
You can purchase this product for $99 from BlueAntWireless.com

Video Review: Cable Drops
Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Avoids the hassle of cables dropping behind your desk.
Cons: I wish they were a bit more reusable and available in more colors.
Overall: Cool easy to use product that you can find at various online retailers for around $2 a six pack. This product has eliminated me having to fish down behind my desk for ethernet cables, 30 Pin Cables and other cables that are utilized in my office. So simple yet so useful.
Video Review: Speck Geometric for iPhone 4
Rating: 7 out of 10
Pros: Nice unique style, Strong TPU Rubber
Cons: The back makes the case unique but quite awkward at the same time.
Overall: This is a nice TPU rubber case with alot of unique style but uneven back design makes it a case that wont be for everyone.
Speck Geometric for iPad can be purchased at the www.speckproducts.com for $ 29.95
Video Review: Speck CandyShell for iPhone 4
Rating: 9 out of 10
Pros: Hard outer shell soft inside for great protection, multiple colors, nice lay on the table design, easier to put on and take off than the 3G version, seems as if the flash issue has been fixed, feels as if you are holding the iPhone 4 naked in your hand, will not pull up screen shields, tactile feel of all buttons.
Cons: Priced on the upper end of cases, only available from AT&T Stores or online, opening for 30 pin connector makes it challenging to use 3rd party chargers, no longer comes with screen shield.
Overall: The Speck Candyshell has quickly become my case of choice with its durability and extraordinary protection for my iPhone. If you drop your phone with this case the hard outer shell will take the brunt of the force while the soft inner shell babies your phone. The new colors are super cool and will be a big hit amongst iPhone 4 owners. Unfortunately the CandyShell is not available for purchase directly from Speck so it may be challenging to find the color you want from the AT&T Stores or online. Speck has improved on the 3GS version and since I loved that case this version also gets my Editors Choice Award.
Start looking for the CandyShell for iPhone 4 from AT&T Stores and online. If you do some searching you can find these cases on Amazon. The typical retail price for the Speck candyShell is $34.95
Leaked iPod Touch And Nano Cases
The rumor mill is a churning as the September event Apple has planned inches ever closer. Usually around this time of year Apple refreshes the iPod lineup and this year hopefully should be no different. The iPod Touch was rumored to receive a camera addition last year and we know that never panned out as we though it would. But with the release of the iPhone 4, with it’s dual cameras, we should see the iPod Touch finally receive the highly touted addition. What is interesting, X-Doria, a Chinese accessories manufacturer has released photos of the pro-ported redesigned iPod Touch and Nano cases. The redesigned shape of the Nano shape is very similar to the LCD leaked earlier this year. Why Apple would reduce the size of the screen on the Nano is beyond me, but as always, they will of course make it work. Which in turn will make me want to buy it.

Video Review: Otterbox Commuter Case for iPad
Rating: 8 out of 10
Pros: Great protection, dockable, includes screen protector
Cons: Only black available, difficult to install, and you must remove the bottom cover to charge and sync your iPad while in this case.
Overall: Otterbox is known for their great protective cases and the Commuter case for the iPad holds up to that reputation. It doesn’t add too much weight or bulk to your iPad and it will definitely protect it if you drop your iPad, but there are a few things that I think they should consider tweaking in order to make this a perfect product. One of those being the addition of an opening on the bottom of the dock cover in order to sync and charge your iPad without having to remove the bottom cover. I also hope they add more colors besides black, I think having the colors options available for the iPhone version of the commuter case is what made it such a winner.
You can purchase this product directly from Otterbox for $64.95.
